These luxury stainless steel towel rails are made using 304 grade stainless steel which ensures no rusting even in damp bathroom conditions. With a highly polished almost mirror finish and designer flat tubes, they're the perfect addition to any modern bathroom. A sign of the high quality finish, the wall brackets and air vent are mounted on the uprights resulting in a sleek look and maximum space for hanging towels. They're pressure tested to 10 bar and so are ideal for any domestic or commercial central heating system, and come with a 10 year guarantee for maxmum peace of mind. We also stock a central heating version and a range of designer valves and TRVs. These electric rails use a PTC heating element, unlike traditional heating elements which use a resistance wire, PTC elements are made as ceramic stones. These ceramic stones are special as they are designed to heat up to a defined temperature and then maintain this temperature by reducing the amount of electric current. This means that the rail will initially heat up using the maximum rated wattage until it reaches 65°C and wil lthen automatically reduce the amount of power whilst maintaining the temperature.

As a result, a thermostatic control unit is not required and more importantly, significantly less electricity is used than with a conventional heating elemetn, making it more cost effective to run.
